The PEMSEA Country Representatives or National Focal Points (NFP) are designated by each PEMSEA member country. The NFP serves as the liaison of PEMSEA RPO/PRF to each country. In particular, they facilitate cooperation and communication between PEMSEA and the relevant environmental agencies in their respective countries. They also furnish and disseminate relevant information pertaining to activities related to the PEMSEA project and coastal and ocean management. As Focal Points, they also often represent their countries in the Programme Steering Committee Meetings/EAS Partnership Council Meetings and other major activities of PEMSEA.
