About PICC
The Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) made history as Asia's first international convention center. Designed by Leandro V. Locsin, a Filipino National Artist in Architecture, the PICC Complex formally opened on 5 September 1976.
That year, it hosted the World Bank-International Monetary Fund annual meeting and established itself as one of the most versatile event arenas in the Asia-Pacific region by being the venue of political summits, international conventions, and concerts of international and local artists.
Strategically located, PICC is at the heart of Manila and along scenic Manila Bay, a few minutes from the national airport, major hotels and tourist sites.
