Up one level

The Youth Agenda is a product of the First East Asian Seas (EAS) Youth Forum which was held last December 11-16, 2006 at Haikou City, Hainan, PR China as one of the highlights of the EAS Congress 2006. The Youth Agenda was formed to put into practice and be able to share what was learned during the forum. It comprises the youth’s Vision and Mission for the East Asian Seas as well as their recommendations and corresponding plan of action. The framework of the Youth Agenda is embedded in the formula which is I*3 = E; Inform x Inspire x Involve = Youth Empowerment, which signifies the participants’ commitment to uphold the protection and management of the environment especially the Seas of East Asia.
