PMO Directors/NFPs Workshop

Targeting ICM coverage of at least 20 percent of the regional coastline by 2015, PEMSEA is organizing this workshop to discuss the challenges and strategies concerning the scaling up of ICM programs as well as to facilitate interaction among the sites.

The objectives of the workshop are to:

  1. familiarize all PMO Directors with the various aspects of the ICM scaling up program for the next phase of PEMSEA;
  2. For PEMSEA to provide inputs in the works programs to national work programs for implementation of the SDS-SEA for 2007-2010; and
  3. To facilitate good communication and interaction between the PRF and the ICM sites/NFPs.

Expected workshop participants include the Project Management Office Directors from PEMSEA ICM sites, representatives from National Focal Agencies, local government executives from ICM sites in the Philippines and representatives from 3 potential ICM sites in Cambodia, Philippines and Vietnam. Close to 70 participants have already confirmed send their confirmation.
