International Scientific Conference: "Global Changes: Vulnerability, Mitigation and Adaptation"

This scientific event continues the tradition started by the University of Sofia St. Kliment Ohridski Faculty of Geology and Geography, to incorporate the capacity of the scientific community for facing the challenges of our time. This Conference will discuss questions concerning Global changes' impact to the ecosystems, the regional socio-economic systems and the institutional structures.

Objectives:
- To emphasize the role of interdisciplinary approach in revealing and solving the Global changes related problems;
- To contribute for better understading the integrated impact of global changes on the environment and the society at regional scale; and
- To define the research works priorities considering the different aspects of global changes and to set the topics for future conferences.
