During the EAS Congress 2006, the first Youth Forum was launched and was participated by youth representatives from the different East Asian countries. In 2009, the Second East Asian Seas Youth Forum will be conducted during the EAS Congress. As a means to engage the youth sector in coastal and ocean activities and efforts, various initiatives or events will be organized in the months leading to the 2009 Congress. The biggest Youth Activity will be undertaken in October of 2008. Announcements pertaining to Youth Activity will be posted soon.
