Coastal and Ocean Governance

Last modified February 20, 2008

Over the last 14 years, PEMSEA has been assisting countries in the region in meeting international obligations related to coasts and oceans by providing technical support in formulating relevant national policies and establishing legal frameworks for sustainable coastal and ocean development that are hinged on the integrated approach to coastal management.

A milestone marine strategy was also developed and adopted at the regional level. PEMSEA shares relevant status reviews, framework and guidelines, policy briefs, case studies, and lessons learned through the publications classified under this category.
