Request for Quotation (RFQ) / Scope of Work
Project: Upgrade of Electrical Lighting and Devices at PEMSEA Office
Project Overview:
PEMSEA Resource Facility (PRF) invites qualified electrical contractors to submit proposals for the upgrade of electrical systems, lighting fixtures, and related devices at the PRF office. The project includes replacement of old lighting with LED technology, rewiring, installation of electrical outlets, switches, and panel boards, and associated labor and materials. All work shall comply with safety standards and minimize disruption to office operations.
Scope of Work
I. General Requirements
The contractor shall provide the following:
- Mobilization/Demobilization – Transportation of tools, equipment, and personnel to and from the site.
- Delivery of Materials and Equipment – Ensure timely delivery of all necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
- PPE and Safety Requirements – Provide personal protective equipment and comply with all safety regulations.
- Supervision – Assign a qualified supervisor to oversee work progress and quality.
- Hauling and Disposal of Debris – Proper removal and disposal of old fixtures, wires, and construction debris.
II. Lighting Fixtures, Devices, and Re-Wiring
- Removal and Dismantling
- Remove all existing lighting fixtures and devices.
- Dismantle existing electrical wirings.
- Supply and Installation
- LED lights, 300mm x 1200mm – 165 sets
- Pin lights, 15 watts – 7 sets
- Duplex outlets – 175 pcs
- Switches:
- 1 gang – 14 sets
- 2 gang – 13 sets
- 3 gang – 11 sets
- Wires and cables – as required
- Electrical pipes and fittings, including hangers – as required
- Panel boards and circuit breakers – as required
- Miscellaneous Hardware and Consumables
- Include scaffolding, platforms, fasteners, and other necessary items.
- Testing and Commissioning
- Check, test, and commission all electrical installations to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
Project Schedule
- Phase I – Achieve Room & Carport Area
- Phase II – Ground Floor Old Building, Pantry, and Communication Unit Area
- Phase III – Ground Floor New Building
- Phase IV – Second Floor & Accounting Area
Work Duration: 30–45 working days
Warranty
- One (1) year warranty for all materials and labor under normal use.
- Damages caused by fire, earthquakes, structural, mechanical, or utilities failures are not covered.
Terms of Payment
- 50% downpayment upon contract signing
- 50% balance via progress billing
Important Note on Contractual Arrangement
- Once the project is awarded to the winning bidder, a Purchase Order (PO) will be issued.
- The PO, together with this Scope of Work, will form the service contract between PRF and the contractor.
- All work, schedules, deliverables, and payment terms shall be governed by the PO and Scope of Work.
Interested contractors are requested to submit quotations and relevant company documents, including proof of experience in similar projects, to the PRF office or via the website by December 15, 2025.
